12th workshop

Photography and Music as Therapy in Youth Work, Hylatio Tourist Village – April 14 2025 

The 11th local activity was implemented by youth workers Chrystalla and Eirini. Attendees were 40 youth workers. 

This activity was based on the second training course that took place in Latvia named "Photography and Music as Therapy in Youth Work". Focusing specifically on the aspect of music, this workshop focused on the communication aspect of it. Specifically, as youth workers Chrystalla and Eirini had learned, music was used as a form of communication between pairs. 

Participants, in their pairs were given roles of A and B. With different genres of music being played, participants were asked to converse, only with dance.

Youth worker Chrystalla played different genres of music, including classical, rock and even ROSÉ & Bruno Mars – APT. The focus of the activity was that each pair, and even singular person perceives each song differently, as such communication between pairs varied greatly. The attendees, youth workers learned how to implement these activities within their own youth in local countries and in this case, even municipalities
