3rd Workshop
11th of July – City of Limassol
Closed theater of B Primary School of Agios Athanasios, Limassol
The third local activity was implemented by youth worker Eirini Christofi. Focusing on the movement aspect of the project, Eirini started by the "Stop and Go" movement game, where participants have to freely walk in the space until the leader say the word ''Stop'' to stop moving and the word ''Go'' to make participants to continue with the walking. After repeating few times, this was done in reverse with changing the meaning of the words ''Stop'' and ''Go'' with the word ''Stop'' to make participants to walk in the space and with the word ''Go'' to make participants stop moving.

The first major activity that was introduced was "follow my hand", the objective being to build connection and empathy within the group by encouraging participants to observe and mimic each other's movements. Through this nonverbal interaction, participants can strengthen their ability to communicate and connect with others.
This was followed by "follow my sound, by encouraging participants to create sounds with their bodies and vocals by their mouth. Through this sound interaction, participants can explore their ability to move into space with a vocal or a sound motivation. Once again, there is a strong emphasis in creating connections with an important aspect that there are no right or wrong ways to move or to create a sound and encourage everyone to engage with an open mind.
Lastly, a group Image Kinesiology activity took place, where each participant transferred a memory to a living group image movement by re-creating their happy moment-memory. A literal movement-based reliving of a happy event serves as an important therapy tool.
