Evaluation
Evaluation of the CREATIYOK Training in Latvia
At the conclusion of the CREATIYOK training activity in Latvia (September 2024), all participants completed a detailed evaluation questionnaire. This assessment aimed to capture their learning experiences, measure the impact of the training, and gather constructive feedback for future activities. Participants reflected on various aspects, including the relevance of the content, the quality of facilitation, the usefulness of the tools and methodologies presented, the intercultural exchange, and the overall organization.
The evaluation provided valuable insights into how the training enhanced participants' knowledge of arts-based therapy tools in youth work, boosted their confidence to apply these methods, and fostered collaboration across cultures. The feedback also highlighted practical strengths—such as the diversity of activities, the hands-on learning approach, and the supportive group atmosphere—as well as suggestions for improvement.

Why Evaluation Matters in Projects Like CREATIYOK
Evaluation is not a formality; it is an essential element in ensuring the quality, relevance, and sustainability of Erasmus+ projects. By systematically collecting participant feedback, we can:
-
Assess the real impact of activities on knowledge, skills, and attitudes.
-
Identify what works well and where adjustments are needed.
-
Adapt and improve methods to meet the evolving needs of youth workers and their communities.
-
Document outcomes for reporting, dissemination, and future replication.
In CREATIYOK, the evaluation of the Latvia training plays a crucial role in shaping the project's final outputs, including the multilingual handbook. The participants' reflections ensure that the tools and approaches we promote are practical, user-friendly, and grounded in real youth work practice. This process strengthens the project's legacy and helps ensure its benefits extend beyond the life of the programme.
